@Douglas Taggart nice line up. honestly i would like to go back to the 4-3-3 once we have the right personnel. i also think that mingueza is doing a better job than dest at right back. dest will have to pick up his game but its his first season so he may get some time . i do not like emerson . he is nothing special at all and i have been looking at his games just to see what he is about and im not impressed at all. people are just exaggerating because he is a Brazilian. regarding Alaba , i dont think we have the money and it may only happen if messi leaves as you mentioned because of the salary. halaand is also a big if , if laporta can get the finances somehow , many clubs will want him. but im not sold on us getting him cause of the financial mess we are in. i think they will go for depay as he is free. not my cup of tea but he is 26yrs and he's not a bad player, honestly i think he is better than griezmann and will fit in the system, even better than braithwaite. these guys should be sold though. braithwaite, griezmann, coutinho, umtiti. alba is playing fabulous. i am not one to just give up on a 30yr old because he is 30. if the guy has the engine to continue then let him. i think balde has potential and if he can be back up to alba that would be great. if alba was playing badly , i would have sold him and bring in gaya as the starting player with balde as his back up. but alba is still doing well. but if we buy gaya its still good and i wont complain. the only thing is that balde would have to wait a few more years. i dont think gaya can bench alba in this form.

@Douglas Taggart font had a clearer idea of what he was going to do though and laporta haven't revealed a plan but i guess that happened as laporta entered late. font tried to appeal to the fans by using xavi ,as everyone wanted him back due to valverde and setien . in the midst of that he disrespected koeman by talking about xavi xavi whilst the man is coaching and fighting with the team, little did he know that the team would have improved so well. laporta did the sensible thing and acted like a responsible leader, he acknowledged koeman's legendary status. its as though font doesnt know anything about koeman. that was a major blow to font and he had to retract his statements, which right there was a sign of hastiness. i thin khe will use koeman to rebuild the squad and at the end of his time bring in xavi. that to me is levelheadedness .
